Body Composition Analysis

At Zenith, we utilize Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) powered by InBody technology. Power is a critical component of athletic performance, influencing your ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction efficiently.

  • Lower Body Power: We employ cutting-edge force plates powered by Hawkin Dynamics to assess lower body power through vertical jump tests. This analysis not only measures your jump height but also evaluates your rate of force development (RFD), a key indicator of your explosive strength and agility.
  • Upper Body Power: Upper body strength and power are evaluated using accelerometers, as seen with Gymaware technology. This tool measures the acceleration of your movements, such as during a bench press, providing insights into your upper body's power output.

Speed Testing

Speed is a multifaceted attribute encompassing acceleration and maximum velocity. Utilizing Brower Timing Systems, we conduct sprint tests over distances of 10m and 20m to analyze both your acceleration capabilities and top-end speed. Additionally, the 5-10-5 test is implemented to assess your agility and ability to change direction swiftly. Video analysis complements these tests, offering visual feedback to enhance your performance techniques.

Strength Evaluation

The foundation of all athletic abilities, strength, is pivotal for running, jumping, and overall performance. At Zenith, we delve deep into strength assessment by utilizing force plates alongside isometric tests. This approach allows us to accurately determine the exact force output in sport-specific positions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of an athlete's strength capabilities. Our testing protocols cover four key movements: Push, Pull, Squat, and Hinge Strength. By quantifying the force in these essential movements, we can pinpoint areas for improvement and tailor training programs to enhance your strength precisely where it matters most for your sport.

Energy Systems Analysis

Athletic performance also hinges on the efficiency of your energy systems, which can be anaerobic or aerobic.

  • Anaerobic Capacity: Anaerobic Capacity: To evaluate anaerobic capacity, we employ two distinct Wingate tests alongside a 3-minute anaerobic VO2Max test on the Wattbike. The first, a 6-second Wingate test, is designed to measure the power output of the Phosphocreatine energy system, crucial for explosive, short-duration efforts. The second, a 30-second test, assesses the output of the short-duration Glycolytic energy system, providing insights into your ability to sustain high-intensity efforts just beyond the immediate energy burst. These tests, in combination, offer a comprehensive view of your anaerobic power and capacity, essential for optimizing performance in high-intensity, short-duration activities.
  • Aerobic Capacity: For endurance, the YO-Yo Aerobic VO2Max test assesses your maximal oxygen uptake, a key indicator of your aerobic endurance and efficiency.
