Athletic Journey
Venedict’s journey into fitness began through swimming in the Philippines before relocating to Canada, where he remained active in school sports such as basketball and badminton. Although he did not pursue competitive athletics, discovering structured training at age 18 sparked a deep passion for exercise, fitness, and human performance. Without a clear plan after high school, Venedict chose to pursue this passion as a career, committing himself to learning how movement, strength, and rehabilitation can positively impact quality of life.
Educational Pathway
Venedict completed the Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma at Mount Royal University in 2019 before continuing his education and earning a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education in Athletic Therapy. Venedict successfully passed the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) National Certification Exam and is now a fully certified Athletic Therapist. With his background in athletic therapy and strength and conditioning, he works with clients to alleviate chronic and acute pain, rehabilitate injuries, improve biomechanics, and build long-term physical resilience.
Coaching Philosophy
Venedict’s training philosophy is rooted in the belief that progress lives in purposeful struggle. He believes meaningful gains in strength, confidence, and resilience are earned through intentional challenge, not random discomfort. His approach emphasizes training that tests limits, addresses weaknesses, and develops both mental and physical toughness, helping clients become stronger, more capable, and better prepared for life beyond the gym.
